Amazing! If a single word would describe the doctor and also as a Human Being. He gives as much time to his patients as needed (sometimes wait time increases because of it, but worth it). He is so genuinely friendly and He listens to you without judgement. His patient's first approach is incredible, also educates you on the subject into plain simple language that even a layman can understand.
Dr. Arka prioritises that medications are something that supports an individual on their day to day life, so doesn't prescribe anything that goes beyond purchasing power of the patient or anything unneccesary so that doesn't become a burden.
I have shown 6 Psychiatry doctors before consulting him for all have given were either useless, unsatisfactory or even highly dangerous for a patient highly sensitive to meds like me.

One of the best psychiatrists in Kolkata. He is very knowledgeable, empathetic, and patient-friendly. He takes the time to understand the problem, prescribes appropriate medication, and guides patients and caregivers very well. Truly compassionate and professional in his approach. Highly recommended!
